Mike Martin, Bass Guitar:    In 1996, Mike also known as "2000" (the Roman Numeral value of MM) formed the original band S.W.I.G.  The S.W.I.G. band played several sets at the same venues that the Mystic Love Gods band did, and the members of both bands became friends and fans of each other's bands.  S.W.I.G. went on to win the Rock City News award for Outstanding Hollywood Band in 2008, but later went on a "long term hiatus" after the band's co-founder and guitarist moved to the Chicago area in 2009.  Mike went on play bass in various other projects since, including playing with Bender in 2012.  "I really enjoyed playing in Bender, along with Danny and Bill, and Jean too whenever she played keys, it was a truly a rockin' time whenever we got together at the studio", said Mike.  "Bender was a cover band though, and my heart was to play in an original band, so I'm very proud to be part of Solis California now", Mike continued, "I'm equally proud to play in a band with Ed Krattiger on drums, who is a multi-talented musician, and an accomplished actor, that rides a Harley too; Ed's definitely a valuable commodity to have in this band."  Mike had only known Ed a few years before joining Solis California; but Mike already knew what a fantastic drummer he was through his wife Sarina (from Zarina Star), who knew Ed from the band LoveBuzz.   Mike concluded by saying, "After 25 years of knowing Danny, and seeing the eclectic work he's put into this project, I see a bright future with many exciting twists and turns ahead, stay tuned!"
